Union Minister Chirag Paswan Presents Prestigious F&B Awards at Marwah Studios

Noida, In a grand celebration of excellence in the food and beverage sector, the International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry (ICMEI), in association with Diamond Foodies and Beverages Reviews, proudly announced the F&B Excellence Awards at Marwah Studios, Noida. The distinguished awards were presented by Shri Chirag Paswan, Hon’ble Union Minister for Food Processing Industries, Government of India.

The glittering ceremony witnessed an impressive gathering of industry leaders, culinary experts, hospitality innovators, and notable personalities. Dr. Sandeep Marwah, President of Marwah Studios and AAFT School of Hospitality and Tourism, extended a warm welcome to the Hon’ble Minister. In his address, Dr. Marwah emphasized, “The food processing sector has become an essential part of modern life. With the sharp rise in demand and consumption of processed and value-added food products, this industry holds tremendous economic and cultural significance.”

In his keynote address, Minister Chirag Paswan highlighted India’s rich culinary legacy and global potential: “We are committed to showcasing the vast Indian food basket to the world. Indian cuisine is not only about flavors—it’s a representation of our culture, tradition, and innovation. The government is focused on supporting startups and stakeholders across the food processing ecosystem.”

The awards recognized outstanding contributions from restaurants, clubs, chefs, startups, and hospitality professionals who have brought innovation and value to the sector. The event was further graced by prominent figures including Anoop Tewari, Editor, Diamond Food and Beverages Reviews; Vijay Kapoor, Chairman, S.K. Group of Hotels; and Meenu Mahajan, former Mrs. India.

In a special gesture of gratitude, Dr. Sandeep Marwah presented a memento and conferred the Life Membership of the International Film and Television Research Centre (IFTRC) of Marwah Studios to Shri Chirag Paswan, recognizing his dynamic leadership and support to India’s food processing industry.
