Raipur, Chhattisgarh — November 2025: The Convocation 2025 of AAFT University of Media and Arts, Raipur, became a memorable and historic occasion with the distinguished presence of His Excellency Ramen Deka, Governor of Chhattisgarh, who graced the ceremony and planted a sapling in the university campus, symbolizing growth, knowledge, and sustainability.
The Governor was joined by Shri Tankram Verma, Hon’ble Minister for Higher Education and Disaster Management, Government of Chhattisgarh; Padma Shri Anuj Sharma, Hon’ble MLA; and Shri Vijay K. Goyal, Chairman, Chhattisgarh Private Universities Regulatory Commission. The ceremony was led by Dr. Sandeep Marwah, Chancellor of AAFT University.
Dr. Marwah expressed deep gratitude and said, “The installation of a plant by the Hon’ble Governor marks a new beginning — a symbol of our collective commitment to education, environment, and excellence. AAFT University continues to rise as a hub of creativity, innovation, and holistic learning.”
Addressing the gathering, H.E. Ramen Deka appreciated the vision and contribution of AAFT University towards skill-based education and youth empowerment. He remarked, “Planting a tree is planting hope for the future. I am delighted to see an institution like AAFT University nurturing both talent and social responsibility. Such initiatives reflect the true spirit of nation-building.”
The event was attended by faculty members, graduating students, dignitaries, and guests from various walks of life. The Convocation 2025 concluded with renewed enthusiasm and commitment to knowledge, creativity, and sustainable development.
