New Delhi, 2025: The Embassy of the Republic of Peru in India celebrated the 204th Independence Day of Peru with grandeur and patriotic fervor at Hotel Le Shangri-La, New Delhi. The event was graced by H.E. Javier Paulinich, Ambassador of Peru to India, and Shri G. Kishan Reddy, Hon’ble Minister of Coal and Mines, who attended as the Chief Guest.
The evening witnessed an impressive gathering of Ambassadors, High Commissioners, business leaders, and prominent personalities from the fields of art, culture, and diplomacy, highlighting the importance of Indo-Peruvian relations and global cultural harmony.
Bringing a unique vibrancy to the celebration, students of AAFT (Asian Academy of Film & Television) participated in traditional Peruvian attire, reflecting the true spirit of cultural exchange and international friendship.
Dr. Sandeep Marwah, President of Marwah Studios and Chairman of the Indo Peru Film and Cultural Forum, expressed his heartfelt congratulations to the people of Peru. “It is an honor to be part of this momentous celebration. The bond between India and Peru continues to grow stronger through our shared commitment to art, culture, and education. Cultural diplomacy is a powerful tool for building global peace and understanding,” he said.
