Dr. Sandeep Marwah Meets Serbian Diplomat to Enhance Indo-Serbia Film and Cultural Cooperation

New Delhi, August, 2025: Dr. Sandeep Marwah, President of Marwah Studios and International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry (ICMEI), had a fruitful discussion with Mr. Lazar Y. Vukadinović, Deputy Head of Mission at the Embassy of the Republic of Serbia, to explore new avenues for strengthening the cultural partnership between India and Serbia.
The meeting focused on expanding the scope and outreach of the Indo-Serbia Film and Cultural Forum, an initiative established under the aegis of ICMEI to foster artistic exchange, joint film projects, academic collaborations, and people-to-people connections between the two nations.
Dr. Marwah shared recent developments and successes of the forum and emphasized the importance of cultural diplomacy in enhancing mutual understanding. He proposed increased participation in festivals, workshops, and media initiatives that would celebrate the shared heritage and cinematic talent of both countries.
Mr. Vukadinović appreciated the work of ICMEI and the Forum in deepening bilateral cultural ties and expressed the Embassy’s continued support in taking the collaboration to greater heights.
The dialogue marks a renewed commitment to building a vibrant cultural bridge between India and Serbia through film, art, and education.
