Noida: The 11th Global Literary Festival Noida 2025 witnessed yet another remarkable cultural experience with the presentation of “Cuisines from Austria”, organized by ICMEI – International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry in association with AAFT School of Hospitality and Tourism at Marwah Studios, Film City Noida.
The event was inaugurated by Mr. Michael Pal, Cultural Director, Embassy of Austria, who appreciated the efforts of ICMEI and AAFT in promoting cultural understanding through food, art, and literature. He expressed, “Cuisine is one of the most authentic reflections of a country’s culture. Bringing Austrian flavors to India not only delights the palate but also builds bridges of friendship and appreciation between our nations.”
Dr. Sandeep Marwah, President of Marwah Studios and Chair for Indo Austria Film and Cultural Forum, extended a warm welcome to the distinguished guest and highlighted the importance of culinary diplomacy. “Food has a language of its own. It connects people, transcends borders, and enriches cultural exchange. We are delighted to showcase Austrian cuisine as part of this grand literary and cultural celebration,” said Dr. Marwah.
The students and faculty of AAFT School of Hospitality and Tourism curated a delectable spread of authentic Austrian dishes, reflecting the rich traditions and flavors of the country. The event created a delightful platform for learning, tasting, and celebrating global gastronomy in an artistic setting.
