Association of Asia Pacific Union Convenes Executive Board Meeting at Marwah Studios

Noida, July 2025: The prestigious board meeting of the Association of Asia Pacific Union (AAPU) was held at Marwah Studios, Noida Film City, bringing together eminent leaders, diplomats, scholars, and stakeholders to deliberate on some of the most pressing issues affecting the Asia Pacific region.

The meeting commenced with a warm welcome address by Dr. Sandeep Marwah, President of Marwah Studios and Chair for the Asian Unity Alliance. In his remarks, Dr. Marwah emphasized the need for collaborative thinking and invited all delegates to contribute their suggestions for the upcoming Asia Pacific Conclave, aiming to strengthen unity and foster shared growth in the region.

Mr. J.S. Saluja, President of AAPU, presided over the meeting and set the tone for in-depth discussions on significant matters including border disputes, education, tourism, media and entertainment, art and culture, healthcare, and peace-building initiatives. The session reflected a strong commitment to regional cooperation and strategic dialogue.

The meeting was further enriched by powerful presentations from distinguished speakers: Dr. A.K. Gupta offered valuable insights on Health Services and the need to reinforce medical collaboration across Asia. Dr. (Prof.) S.N. Mishra addressed Climate Change challenges, urging joint environmental action plans among member countries. Shri Gautam Lahiri, President of the Press Club of India, highlighted the critical role of Media in fostering unity among developing nations. Dr. Subhash Goyal, along with other notable participants, contributed practical and forward-looking suggestions on the Theme for the next International Conference scheduled in Delhi.

A special acknowledgment was extended to Dr. Y.P. Chawla, Chairman for the Pacific Region and Program Director for Conferences, for his exceptional coordination and leadership in planning the session.

The Executive Meeting proved not only successful but profoundly impactful. It laid the groundwork for formulating guidelines and themes for forthcoming National and International Conferences and Round Table Discussions, with a strong focus on unity, development, and peace in the Asia Pacific region.
